In case of illness or accident:

In the event of unexpected conditions such as trauma, infection, pain or inflammation requiring dental assistance, the insurance will cover the costs of treatment and any necessary medications.
If the insured suffers an accident or illness during the course of the trip and, once they have been attended to and treated medically in a hospital, it is determined that it is advisable to suspend the trip and carry out their repatriation, the insurer will arrange their transfer to their country of residence.
- The transportation required for the repatriation of the body.
- The temporary coffin required for the repatriation of the body.
- The preparation of the body for repatriation.
- The cremation (optional) of the body in the country where the death occurred.
If the insured suffers an accident or illness during the course of the trip and, once medically attended to and treated, needs to extend their stay, the insurer will cover the costs of lodging and meals in a hotel, up to the contracted sum.
For hospitalizations of more than 5 days for the insured. With prior authorization from the insurer, the cost of travel for one person chosen by the insured will be covered, in economy class, both to and from the hospital.
When the transfer of an accompaniment is required as provided for in the Companion Travel Coverage (round trip), the insurer will cover the hotel accommodation expenses of the traveling companion, up to the contracted sum.
If the insured suffers an accident or illness during the trip, which, according to the attending physician, prevents them from continuing the trip or postpones their return, or is informed of a flood or fire incident in their home in the country of origin, or the death of their spouse, father(s), mother(s), son(s), grandparent(s), father(s), son(s), daughter(s) or brother(s), and they must bring forward or postpone their trip, the insurer will cover the cost of the return ticket up to the agreed sum.
If the insured suffers an accident or illness during the trip, which according to the attending physician prevents him from caring for his children under eighteen (18) years of age and he cannot continue the trip, the insurer will arrange the return of the minor(s) to the country of residence and will pay the airfare (economy class).
If the insured is involved in a traffic accident that deprives them of their freedom and a financial guarantee (bail or sum of money in cash) is required, the insurer will provide an advance of funds up to the agreed amount, as a loan.
